Fuel went in the charcoal canister do i Blow dry instead, water with charcoal, doesn't it dissolve?
I had one leaking like hell from the bypass valve area. It’s the bypass valve that needs to be replaced. The plastic is thinner than the rotary valve it plugs into, and develops hairline cracks. For a $40 part, it works now.
Hi, is it still running ? I’m planning on buying one too… which size is the crankshaft ?
Yes, I believe it’s a little smaller than 3/4” and it’s metric
I had to get metric pully
I just rebuilt mine with a rebuild kit and a lot of carb cleaner. It wasn't using the main jet when I put it back on and I had to take it off again. I can say that it can come out from both sides. And make sure the needle in the slide is not flopping up and down. That was making it lean for some reason?
Is it normal for air to come out from under the truck right where the lines connect?
No
Great video. I can only put in like $8 before gas spills out. The gas station pump nozzle not clicking. But I don't know why my gas tank is refusing to accept more fuel? I've checked all hoses and charcoal canister. Everything is intact. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Could be purge valve sticking
Valve lash: .004” intake .005” exhaust
Thank you
My father has been gone for 25years now and I still find myself saying I should call and ask dad about this or that because he would know.
Good music 🎶 with this
Actually and these types of welders looks like they are sufficient to tack and that's about it or possibly small beads just my opinion
That's funny the wire brush looks like a toothbrush and that face shield I wouldn't trust for my worst enemy never mind my child!!!!!!
😂😂😂
I took one out of a Chevy Suburban and charcoal pellets started to fall out. It's not supposed to do that right?
no they should not, usually there is a foam pad inside that might be falling apart allowing them to fall out. You may have to get new one or shake all the pellets out and call it good.
So, if you take it off, charcoal pellets are not supposed to fall out? I took one out of a chevy suburban and a ton of pellets immediately started falling out. Does that indicate that the canister is bad?
The internal screen to hold pellets back failed. You may have to get new one.
"Wurr-Chester, Mass" No, mate. say "Woos-tah". Or " Wuss-tah". (Wuss rhymes with puss, not bus)
Hello! Any way to tighten the splines? if play starts occuring?
Not an easy fix, probably a new one would be in order then.
@@HighOctane101 ah ok, sad as it’s a one piece aluminium:( pretty expensive and I am in Europe and only can import another one from the USA (1300usd total) Thank you for the answer
Thank you so much for putting out this video! I thought I had no choice but to buy a new one for $250! The van alone is barely worth that, haha
No problem, thanks
frickin' engineers and their plastic "E-Z Break" clips

I bet it would taste like aluminum can, lol
Never a dull moment when you have average 🤣
yep 👍
Keep the faith Sir and tell yourself good things! 🫡
I will. Thanks
This video explains it so perfectly!
Yes
Bro still casually driven it like it was nothing

If anything could go wrong, always ASSUME it will go wrong so youre prepared.
I have learned that 😂
What is happening in this video?
It’s a hand dug water well, last thing to do is put a plug at the bottom
Use a rope instead of a tape measure. Just measure how much rope you used.
I sure wished I would have, me talking short cuts again and paying for it

@@HighOctane101 that would be my guess too
This guy knows what hew doing. My parents had one that wasn't cycling properly, and had gobs of dissolved salt in it, they were getting older and it started leaking at the connection, which I could have fixed. I had no interested in fixing the computer and used that leak as reason to get rid of it. Since then, their appliances (and hair) have been getting rocked so mom was thinking of a service. Meanwhile I see more and more for free, which usually tell me it's something common, that can be fixed. I think this is it!
Thanks
Nothing comes apart for me as smoothly as this did for him
Sorry about that, hopefully my vid helped some.
Thank you for the video. I have this unit and like it. However, I wasn't sure how to empty the oil to change it. Your video showed me how.
You're welcome!
Oh man no shoring???? OMG 😮 my channels life story😂. Be safe brother 💪
yeah i plan on stepping it out before working on it, thanks
@@HighOctane101 I was just kidding I do so much digging deep w no shoring people always comment talking crap about shoring that don't know anything
"Not gonna lie. It's scary down here." Put in some shoring! ESPECIALLY after the rain! If the sides cave in, you'll be gone before anyone can dig you out. Literally buried alive? Yeah, that's pretty scary.
Going to excavate more before I do, at least 45 degrees angle I hope
Did you get any water out of it ?
Not yet I’m down to 12 foot in this video and I’ll have to hand dig til I get down to about 18’. Then put casing in and the I’ll either sand bucket and it use air induction with pipe to suck out sand. It will be a few days before I can get back to it we just had a lot of rain.
Non avevo visto mai 3 rulli tendicingolo
Really
I have a 2015 with the same issue. 6 months ago I had to replace the short high pressure line in front. Dealer wanted over a grand. It cost me about 100 bux and 1.5 hours. Car only had 90,000 miles. Absolutely crap engineering.
Nice, just fyi this fix is still holding, knock on wood.
It same for all series 4k?
Only for the 20 series I believe the 30 and 40 on up where different. Someone else might chime in
@@HighOctane101 I have a 4230 and I would like to put a selective control of um 4455, at first glance they look the same, but I'm looking for an answer before trying it!
Nice brother. Is this your play shop? If tis, I'm jealous....LOL Nice work. Keep having fun
It sure is, I do some work out of it to
So it’s been a year, is this still working for you?
Still works great, even though used it a dozen times. Works great for fishing weights also.
0:41 I have this same mower and it is 8 or 9 years old. The bolts that hold the hydraulic motors to the frame (an inch from the break in your bracket) will come loose over time and then the mower has the same problem throwing belts. This has happened to me a few times now. I also had to buy an upgraded heavy duty "cross brace" that ties between the two hydraulic motors because the original broke. It has been a great mower except for the repeating "rear axle" frame issues.
Yep I did the upgrade, it was actually like a recall, cost me nothing
Where can i find the gears i have the same setup that needs fixed
Go to a local rv repair shop that’s where I got them
Tried the local RV shop they said no go.
Is there a brand name or part # you could give me?
The smoke Exhaust is Like a Steam Engine
😀😀
how often do you do this ?
only did this because the house it was in had very high iron. Now that its on my house with a good well. it should last the rest of my life. Now if you have alot of rust sediment and cant get flow though it then that would be a different story.
Does that canister isssue generates problems when you go to the gas station and fill up the tank the nozzle keeps shutting down?... did you get that problem in that truck? did it get fixed? or that truck just had the typical error code for the EVAP system?
Yes yes and yes that more than likely your problem
@@HighOctane101 Thanks so much for your reply and for the tutorial video
Lot of time on your hands 😅
Just taking a break 😀
I tried this and it didn't work. I did see some improvement when I went to fill up but still doesn't vent right. Maybe I need to do it again or something.
It could also be the sponge filter where it breathes, it is on the filler neck on the inside of fender area just behind the gas cap
@@HighOctane101 I'll take a look at it and let you know. Thanks for the reply.
Thanks buddy, very good video
